This is an original real photo postcard (RPPC) from the Divided Back era, featuring a novelty caricature of a man in a chauffeur’s cap. His photographic head is superimposed on a cartoon drawing of him driving a small, early automobile. The postcard originates from Dreamland, an amusement park on Fifth Avenue in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, as printed on the reverse. The card is unposted but has a name, ‘Lee Scheetz’, written on the address side. The postcard shows age-related toning and some light soiling, consistent with its age.
The card front is printed and reads The Nu-Pike At Long Beach California. Condition is good as shown.
